Quick Tip: Workbench Organizer
By Randy Cordle

Here's a quick and easy-to-make workbench organizer that will streamline your woodworking, regardless of your level of expertise. We all have a short list of those often-used tools and shop aids that are essential to the way we work, so why not build a bench organizer to hold them all? Not only does this save both steps and aggravation, but it allows us to clean off the bench instantly when we need additional real estate to accommodate those larger projects. A bench organizer can be made very easily. Once you've identified the tools you want to have handy at all times, simply drill holes or cut slots to hold them in a board sized to fit your particular needs. You'll find that it's no problem to simply build a different version of the organizer as your methods of work and your needs evolve.
