Here's My Workshop!

I have always been interested in woodworking. At a young age I accompanied my father to the
woodworking shop where he was employed. I loved watching him and the others as they worked.
Approximately 25 years ago, I bought my first piece of equipment which was a table saw from Sears. I
began making small projects. My first piece was a wooden bookcase which I use to display photos of my work.
Eventually I was able to put a 560 square foot building in my back yard here in Newport, North Carolina.
My shop is laid out so I can square up a board through the joiner and planer. I have a 36" table saw on
casters which is centered in the room so I can move it around when I need to. Along the wall I have two drill presses.
One is a floor model and the other is a tabletop model. Along the opposite wall I have a roll-top desk
centrally located. Beside it are a radial arm saw and a chop saw, lined up, depending on the size of the
board. I also have a scroll saw for use on petite, fine work.
