Here's My Workshop!

This is my 600 square foot garage workshop. Woodworking has been a hobby of mine ever since I bought my wife a sander for Mother's day. In defense, I got it for her so I could sand and refinish a hand-me-down crib for our new baby. I made my wife a sewing machine cabinet so she could make diapers for the baby. The cabinet didn't survive our first move, but 54 years later, I'm still making lots of sawdust and furniture.
I took over our garage (22' x 22') using half of the width, the back wall, and a narrow portion on the opposite side, being careful to leave enough room for my wife's car when I'm not making a mess. Wood storage is in the attic above the shop along with a dust collector connected to 4” piping around the shop. A mini-split air conditioner/heater makes for a year-round shop and also serves as a dehumidifier. An air filtration system hangs from the ceiling.
My kids and grandchildren remind me of the list of things they want me to build for them. Looks like I'll be at the workbench for many more years to come.
